Last week we met Jamar, an 11-year-old little brother as we spent the afternoon at Mr. Gatti's playing games and having a little fun.

Jamar is lucky that he already has a brother named Lamar, but both are looking for that older male influence in their life.

11-year old Jamar and Lamar are very competitive...whther it's on a motorcycle arcade game or miniature bowling...they are constantly trying to outdo the other...and being the first to get a big brother is no exception.

"I want to gplay play video games, go to the park, play football, basketball, go to Miami, go to New York, go to Dallas."

Lamar likes most young men his age is into video games...and not the occasional play it once in a while type of game. Both of these guys love to play and play often.

"Play video games together and play football."

And like most brothers, they do hang out together a lot, but also know the importance of having an older guy in their life.

"If he needs help, I'll help him.

"What if you need help?"

"He'll help me."

Video games and a fun day at the arcade aside, Lamar, his brother Jamar and a host of other young men have joined the ever growing list of little brothers who are in need of a big brother in their life. And until volunteeers come forward and those matches occur, the others and Lamar, will be waiting.
