PORTALES, N.M. -- October is National Anti-Bullying Month, and Eastern New Mexico University is inviting the public for a bullying lecture.

According to bullyingstatistics.org, about 77 percent of students are verbally bullied every year. Of those, 14 percent have a severe or bad reaction. Over 85 percent of bullying cases in school are not properly taken care of.

The lecture is set for Wednesday, Oct. 17, in room 110 of the Art and Anthropology Building on the Portales campus.
