AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police dispatched its bomb robot at a situation near Interstate 27 Monday morning.

Pronews 7 at the scene found the bomb squad along with a bomb robot trying to break into a parked car off 45th Avenue near I-27.

A device at the scene was destroyed. No injuries were reported.

Amarillo Police said the device was not explosive or a threat to the community.
