AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An Amarillo man was tied up, dragged and threatened in an armed robbery at his home Monday evening, police said.

Police were called to the home, located in the 7500 block of Amarillo Boulevard East, at about 8:20 p.m., Monday on the report of a robbery.

Through an interpreter, police said a 42-year-old man said he had arrived home about two hours earlier and saw three Hispanic males sitting in a light-colored pickup parked in front of his home.

As the man was walking to his front door, he told police that the three men approached him from behind. One of the suspects was armed with a silver-colored handgun, police said. The armed suspect pointed the gun at the victim and forced him to let them inside the home, police said.

Police said the suspects threatened to kill the man and they tied him using plastic ties. He was then dragged into another room and placed on the floor, police said.

The suspects then left with several items, including a computer, clothing, the victim's wallet, car keys and a 2012 Toyota pickup.

Police described the suspects as Hispanic males in their 20s, wearing white t-shirts and dark colored shorts.

Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

The vehicls has not yet been recovered, police said.
