AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Out and about this next week, the Texas Department of Transportation says motorists can expect delays throughout Amarillo because of construction projects.

Paul Braun, TxDOT spokesman, said all projects are subject to change because of the weather, emergency work and other unexpected events.

-- On IH-40, expect lane closures EB from the Oldham County line to Loop 335 (Soncy) for edge work.

-- On IH-40, expect lane closures in both directions from the US 287 split to Eastern Street for patching.
