The Obama Administration is offering incentives for the implementation of electronic health records, or Meaningful Use, in medical offices. Texas State Senate Bill 166 is also proposing that physicians be allowed to use a driver's license to obtain personal information.

Supreme Court rules in favor of warrants for sobriety blood tests
