Bills' Owens ready to play

Buffalo Bills receiver Terrell Owens returned to practice and declared himself ready to play in tomorrow's game at Tennessee.

(AP) -- Owens said he fell asleep on his couch Monday night after practice, and then woke up feeling stiff early the next morning. He was held out of practice on Wednesday and Thursday, with what the team characterized as a strained hip.

In other NFL news:

— Philadelphia Eagles running back Brian Westbrook says he's a go for Sunday's game against the San Diego Chargers. Westbrook practiced twice this week and appears fully recovered from the concussion that caused him to miss two games.

— With Chris Henry out for the season after breaking his left forearm during last week's game, the Cincinnati Bengals have promoted wide receiver Maurice Purify (PUR'-uh-fy) from the practice squad for Sunday's crucial game at Pittsburgh.
