Rival Topeka the opponent to start the best of 5, and what a wild opener it was. Amarillo scored the first goal, Topeka scored the next five, Amarillo then scored 5 to take the lead. Then after a tie game in the 3rd, the Bulls get two goals to hang on for a wild 8-6 win. taking a 1-0 series lead over the Roadrunners
