It was a history making night for the WT baseball team in an 8-1 vicotry over rival Eastern New Mexico. Not only did the Buffs advance to the L-S-C Tourney for the first time since 2006, pitcher Justin Kuks picked up his 9th win of the season, tying former Buff and Tascosa baseball coach Jason Patrick for wins in a regular season. Also Kendall Boone extended his home hitting streak to 37 with a solo homer.
In softball the WT Lady Buffs were successful in the L-S-C Tournament, beating ACU in the quarterfinal round.
