Saturday night a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper stopped a Mercury Mountaineer two miles east of Conway for a traffic violation.
The driver, Josue S. Valencia, 31, and his passenger Niza M. Ollo, 21, were arrested for possession of a controlled substance after police discovered 6,767 grams of cocaine and two grams of cocaine were found inside the vehicle.
According to a news release from DPS, the drugs were found inside of the vehicle's spare tire and inside a fake car battery and the drugs were being transported from Perris, California to Wichita, Kansas.
Valencia and Olla were booked into the Carson County Jail.
