ARLINGTON, TEXAS --  Dustin Vaughan threw for 384 yards three touchdown passes and more importantly no interceptions in his first career start, as the Buffs stunned the 5th ranked Javelina's Saturday night at the L.S.C Festival in the mecca of Cowboys stadium. After Kingsiville cut the lead to 28-21 in the 3rd quarter Vaughan connected with wide out Torrence Allen down the sideline 61yds putting the Buffs up 35-21 and ensuring a huge conference opening victory 42-21.  The win puts West Texas A&M at 1-1 on the season and 1-0 in L.S.C play.
