AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo High Sandies ended the regular football season on a big note Thursday night in Lubbock. AHS rolled to a 52-7 win over Lubbock High, beating the Westerners for a 36th straight time. ...that's the good news.
The bad....after the game, Amarillo lost a coin flip for home field in the opening round of the playoffs. AHS will meet EP Montwood next Saturday, 5pm cst, 4pm mst. The game will be played at the Socorro Activity Center.
