Buffs selected to play in Kanza Bowl
CANYON, TEXAS -- The West Texas A&M football team is going bowling for the first time since 1967.
The Buffaloes ended the regular season Saturday with a win at 7th ranked Tarleton State, ending the season on a five game winning streak, running their record to 6-5. On Monday, WT was selected as the LSC representative to the inaugural Kanza Bowl game. The game features the top two teams from the LSC and MIAA conferences that did not receive a bid the the NCAA D2 playoffs. WT will meet Nebraska-Omaha, December 5 in Topeka, Kansas.
