LOGRONO, Spain (AP) — Rafael Nadal will lead defending champion Spain in the Davis Cup final against the Czech Republic next month.
The second-ranked Nadal returns to captain Albert Costa's team for the first time since a first-round win over Serbia. Nadal missed last year's final win at Argentina with a knee injury.
Nadal is joined by likely singles partner David Ferrer, while Fernando Verdasco and Feliciano Lopez are set as doubles partners.
Three-time champion Spain hosts the best-of-five series on indoor clay at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona from Dec. 4-6.
