AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo High is expected to have a new head football coach by Tuesday night.....maybe.
As of Monday, AISD Athletic Director Brad Thiessen had yet to offer the position to any particular applicant. Among those who interviewed, current Sandies defensive coordinator Jason Kirkpatrick and Bushland coach David Flowers appear to be the top candidates.
Thiessen hopes to take a name to the school board meeting set for Tuesday night.
