CANYON,TEXAS -- The West Texas A&M basketball teams picked up important Lone Star South Division wins on Tuesday night at the First United Bank Center. The Lady Buffs victory over the Rambelles of Angelo State assured Krista Gerlich's team of no worse than a share of the conference title. The 8th ranked team in the country has a two game lead with two games to play and improve to 25-2 overall, 9-1 in league play. In the men's game, the Buffaloes battling to earn the final berth in the division and get to the post-season tournament. It took a miracle finish as Chris Burns tip-in as time expired gave WT a one point win as the Buffs now are 16-8 on the season, 5-5 in the league.
