Snow puts some basketball playoffs on hold

The start to a busy week of high school playoff basketball took a hit on Monday as the snow caused the postponement of two games in the metro area while one game in the eastern part of the Pronews Seven viewing area was played.

A total of 23 games scheduled on Tuesday night, 9 girls contests and 14 boys games, including those two from Monday. Fans in the Amarillo-Canyon area can see games at Tascosa, Palo duro, Caprock, Canyon HS and the First United Bank Center on the WTAMU campus.
