DUMAS, TEXAS -- Another school in the ProNews 7 viewing area is installing an artificial playing surface at it's football stadium.
Work is about halfway complete at Demon Staium in Dumas where the decision was made by the school system to replace the natural surface. The school is adding soccer to it's athletic program and the boys and girls teams for those sports will also use the facility.
Head coach Mike Burt says the stadium will be done by the team 2-a-day workouts begin and the Demons will host Dalhart in a pre-season scrimmage on August 20 with the home and season opener on August 27 against Perryton.
