PARAMUS, N.J. -- Amarilloan Ryan Palmer continues to stay in the chase for the PGA FedEx Cup title.
Palmer finished the first playoff event, The Barclays' with a fifth place tie, earning enough FedEx points to move up 10 places to 13th in the standings.
There are two more playoff events before the season ending Tour Championship where just the top 30 players on tour qualify.
This weeks, it's the Deutsche Bank Championship, followed by the BMW Championship. Palmer has moved up to 55th in the world rankings he's currently ahead of Tiger Woods who is now ranked 65th in the world rankings.
