Canadian's Taylor Chappell signs with Mizzou
AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The 2011 signing day saw three Panhandle players ink Division 1 letters of intent. Amarillo High's James Castleman is headed to Oklahoma State, Canadian's Taylor Chappell is going to Missouri, while LaQuan McGowan from Boys Ranch will be playing his ball at Baylor.
Also one FCS signee is Casey Devries of Dalhart who will play at Sam Houston State.
A host of area players signed to play at various schools across the State of Texas and Pronews 7 wishes all them good luck in the future.
West Texas A&M signed 39 players all from the Lone Star State. Coach Don Carthel said he was happy with his bunch, and looks forward to seeing how successful they'll be in the next 5 years.
At Eastern New Mexico Mark Ribaudo has added another talented recruiting class to help the Greyhounds take the next step in the Lone Star Conference. The Hounds signed 25 players.
