AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo, Canyon and Clovis school districts have rescheduled their postponed basketball games.
Amarillo High will host Lubbock Coronado Thursday varsity girls 5:30pm, boys game around 7pm. Canyon will play at Dumas while Randall travels to Frenship with girls games starting at 5pm, boys games start at 6:30pm. In Clovis, all games with Carlsbad will be played Saturday with the varsity girls at 5:30pm mtn followed by the boys at 7pm mtn time.
One other local item. Joe Scott of Randall will sign a letter of intent with Wayland Baptist University 10am Thursday at Raider Gym. The big 6-8 post player is averaging 16 points and 12 rebounds a game for the Raiders and his coach Leslie Broadhurst says Scott is receiving a "full ride" to WBU.
