Thursday was a big day on the West Texas A&M campus for current and former WT footballers. Spring drills came to an end with the Maroon-White scrimmage
at Kimbrough Memorial Stadium. The Maroon team, led by redshirt QB Luke Halpin, drilled the White squad 44-3. Halpin threw six td passes. The Buff
players now finish school, stay in shape during the summer and then open the 2011 season on Thursday, September 1, hosting CSU-Pueblo.

Former WT football players had a chance to showcase thier abilities to NFL scouts during the annual Pro-Day event on campus. Players were dissected,
sized up and then put thru a series of drills that included weight lifting, jumping, running, throwing and catching. A number of scouts were on hand as
the Buffaloes currently have four players in the NFL and two in the Canadian Football League.
