AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo Sox season opener played in front of 3042 fans on Thursday night.
Those in attendance got extra baseball as the game went 10 innings, but the Wichita Wingnuts won the contest 5-3, scoring two runs in the top of the 10th inning. The two teams play game two of a four game series, 7pm Friday at the ANB Sox Stadium.
