  At the UIL wrestling state tournament finals, Nick Hermann of Tascosa and Shelby Morrison of Bushland ended their careers joining an elite class with four state medals. Hermann's match was close, but he hung on to win 6-5, becoming the first boy wrestler in UIL history to win all four years. Shelby won her match 8-4, she joins Caprock's Hilary Cordero as the only other girl wrestler to win all four years. Morrison also finished her career unbeaten at a 110-0. On the team side the Caprock girls won an unprecedented 9th straight state championship, while the Randall boys finished 2nd behind Allen. Here's a look at your other State Champions.
