   The Borger School Board has approved the hiring of a new head football coach at the high school. James Day has been promoted from defensive coordinator to the head coaching position. Day has been at Borger for 3 years, as part of the staff of former head coach Rusty Purser, and he will make his head coaching debut for the Bulldogs August 31st on the road at Bushland while hist first home game will be September 7th against Caprock.
    The School Board also announced a change in the Athletic Administration where Leslie Young, who was the girls athletic coordinator, has now been named Borger's Athletic Director.
