Game two of a seven game road trip ended on a downer note for the Amarillo Sox Tuesday night as the Wichita Wingnuts scored a run in the bottom of the ninth to beat the Sox 6-5.

Amarillo took the early lead only to see Wichita go on top thanks to a Mike Conroy three run homer. The two teams then went back and forth before the Sox again gave up a late run that tied the game and then Wichita won it on an infield hit.

The Sox fall to 34-30 on the season and the two teams will meet again Wednesday night with lefty Chuck Lofgren getting the start for the Sox.
