The Amarillo Sox, fresh off a frustrating road trip that saw the team lost five of seven games in either the bottom of the 9th or extra innings, got no relief at home on Monday night.
Visiting Wichita put up 6 runs in the 4th inning and that proved to be the difference as the Wingnuts beat the Sox 8-3.
The three game series continues Tuesday night and along with the baseball, "The Inflatamaniacs", a fun family-friendly act will showcase its program for fans.
