AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The top eight golfers in Amarillo hit the links early Thursday morning for day one of the 19th Coors Tournament of Champions.

The start of a 72 hole event that will end with the winner earning the title of top golfer for 2012. Defending champion Zach Narrell got off to a hot start with four quick birdies before coming back to the field. Four players broke par while Narrell finished even as three other found the plus side.

This years Tall Tower winner, Michael Casey, has a share of the lead
