AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Tascosa High School has a new head boys varsity basketball coach and he is very familiar with the school.

Steven Jackson, a 2001 THS graduate, is making his return to the school to assume the head coaching duties. Jackson played four years at WTAMU and he has been a member of the Palo Duro Dons program since 2008. Jackson, about to turn 29 years old, is one of, if not the youngest 5A boys basketball coach in the State of Texas. You can see an interview with Jackson on the 6 and 10pm Pro New Seven sportscasts, Wednesday, July 20.
