AMARILLO, TEXAS --

Signing day 2012 proved to be a busy one on the Pro News Seven viewing area with football, soccer and one running standout signing to attend their school of choice.

Two Pro News Seven area athletes are headed to Division One schools to play football. In Borger, Tight End Dustin Clark signed with North Texas. Clark expects to play special teams in his first season and he will get a dose of big time football right off the bat when the Mean Green play at LSU on opening day 2012.

In New Mexico, big lineman (6-7, 300 lbs) Cameron Mock signed to play at the University of Massachusetts. Mock was originally recruited by New Mexico but when that staff was fired, he began looking elsewhere and when one of the UNM coaches ended up at UMASS, the all-stater decided to head east. Mock turned down a full ride offer from Eastern New Mexico to join the Minutemen, due in part to the engineering program at UMASS offers.
