AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The final night of the Texas boys high school basketball season came and went with two big games involving teams needing wins and or help to either make the playoff or at least for a one game playoff with a chance to continue playing hoops. Highland Park won a clutch game at home over Spearman to earn a playoff berth while Palo Duro lost a one point game at Randall and that combined with a Canyon win over Hereford means the Dons and Eagles will have a one game playoff later in the week.
