Former River Road and Borger football coach Craig Shores has been named head football coach and athletic director at Highland Park High School.
Shores has been coaching in the Panhandle since the 1980's including stints as an assistant at Amarillo High and most currently, offensive coordinator at Palo Duro High.
He begins his duties immediately.
