Football fast approaching
Are you ready for some football? One month from today, the 31st of August will be the first full Friday night of High School Football in the Tri-State area.
That will also be the first night of "The Blitz" right here on Pro News 7. Join Lee Baker and Kale Steed for all the highlights and scores as teams open the season with hopes of playing into December.
For most schools the regular season runs 11 weeks ending on November 9th, then the playoffs will begin, however for some small schools the postseason will start earlier in Oklahoma and New Mexico.
High School football workouts begin Monday August 6th, except for those large class schools in Texas that opted to hold spring football, they will begin August 13th.
