INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — The Indianapolis Motor Speedway is cutting ticket prices for the Allstate 400 NASCAR race.
A limited number of seats in the backstretch for the July 26 race will be sold for $45 each, a savings of $30. Speedway president Joie Chitwood says track officials decided to cut the ticket prices because of the sagging economy and tire problems that marred last year's race.
No price cuts are planned for the track's other two races, the Indianapolis 500 and MotoGP.
