Madison Stinnett of San Jacinto Christian Academy has been named the Texas Association of Basketball Coaches (TABC) private school-small class player of the year for 2011-12.

The Lady Patriots won their third title in four years this past season as Stinnett averaged over 16 points and 8 rebounds per game.

On the links, a good showing by the Holy Cross girls golf team. For the second straight year, HC players will be bringing home medals, thanks to a third place finish in the event that was played in Killeen.
