AMARILLO, TEXAS --

The Amarillo Sox wrapped up a brief homestand with a convincing win.

Four first-inning runs helped the Amarillo Sox (40-44) to an 8-3 victory win over the Grand Prairie AirHogs (45-39) at Amarillo National Bank Sox Stad on Thursday.

Adam Buschini was solid at the plate for the Amarillo Sox. Buschini went 4-5, drove in one and scored one run. He singled in the first, second, and fourth innings and doubled in the sixth inning.

The Sox now head out on the road for a series at Lincoln and Laredo before returning home.
