JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) — This year's Tour of Missouri will include cycling stars Mark Cavendish and Michael Rogers, who will ride for Team Columbia-HTC.
Team Columbia also said Thursday that last year's champion, George Hincapie, will ride with the team if he recovers from a broken collarbone he suffered in the Tour de France.
Cavendish, of Britain, was a six-time stage winner in this year's Tour de France. He also won three stages in last year's Tour of Missouri. Rogers, of Australia, is a three-time world champion.
The Tour of Missouri starts Sept. 7 in St. Louis and continues across the state before ending Sept. 13 in Kansas City.
