The annual Panhandle Sports Hall of Fame ceremonies will take place Sunday, February 14 in Ordway Auditorium on the campus of Amarillo College. Three new members will be inducted along with honoring the top athletes, coaches and teams from 2009.

Big Play Award: Nicky Rowland, Nazareth High School. He hit the winning shot at the buzzer in voertime of the 2009 regional finals to send the Swifts to the state tournament.
Super Team Award: 2009 Amarillo High volleyball team, four-time state champion with a 48-3 record.
