AUSTIN, TEXAS --   The Canyon Lady Eagles completed an undeafeated season (38-0) on Saturday afternoon.  Capturing the 4A State Title with a 44-39 win over Austin LBJ.  The win was Canyon's 7th State Championship since 2000.  It was Coach Joe Lombard's 1,100 career victory with just 98 losses.  Canyon is the 18th undeafeated State Champion in Texas girls history, and the 1st in class 4A since 1999.  It's also the schools 15th girls basketball title.
