AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Following Saturday night's 50-35 win over the Bricktown Brawlers, Amarillo Venom Owner Randy Sanders told Pronews 7 Sports he is putting the team up for sale.

Sanders hopes to find local ownership for the Venom, because he also owns the San Angelo Franchise that is not playing this year. Sanders has a number of business interests downstate, plus he's building a lake home at Lake LBJ.

If he can sale the Venom, he can remain closer to his other interests, he told Prones 7.

If he does sell the Venom, he will activate the San Angelo Indoor Football Team. If he can't sale the Venom he will bring them back in 2012. Economically the Venom will more than likely to break even this season and he won't lose money.
