A big night of Lone Star Conference basketball on Wednesday in the Pronews 7 viewing area with doubleheader action in Canyon and Portales, New Mexico. Must win games for the West Texas A&M men and women and for the ENMU hounds and zias.

All four squads looking to either improve their seeding or stay in playoff position for the upcoming LSC post-season tournament.  The West Texas A&M women went into the night tied for second place with Midwestern State, but a win over the Mustangs moved the Lady Buffs up in the standings.

The Buffaloes looking to hold onto 3^rd place with a win and they did just that. In New Mexico, both ENMU squads right on the cut line for play in the post-season.

The Zias sharing the 8^th and final spot, got a hard earned overtime win while the Hounds secured their post-season bid with a two point victory.3
