Vineyard Manor, off 12th and Polk, reopened Wednesday afternoon to residents of Amarillo. The 3-story building will be used for commercial business and affordable housing. They received help from the City of Amarillo and the Center City of Amarillo in financing the project.

UPDATE: The victim of the shooting has been identified as 28-year-old Vionna Taiann Taupule. Taupule is expected to a make a full recovery and her injuries are not life threatening. Brandon Allen Stallings is the man who shot Taupule as is believed to be her ex-boyfriend. APD is still investigating the shooting and no formal charges have been filed at this time.
