Mostly Sunny We're going to get a little break in the heat on Sunday thanks to a weak cold front moving through the area early Sunday morning. Instead of highs between 95° and 102°, we'll be back down in the upper 80s to upper 90s. The good news is a reinforcing shot of cooler air will drop into the area early Tuesday morning ... so we'll cool off even more! Sunday will be a mostly sunny day with a northwest to west wind blowing at 15 to 25 mph. Low: 59°. High: 90°.

Mostly Sunny Temperatures will drop a couple of more degrees from yesterday's highs behind the cold front that passed through the area early Sunday morning. Temps will climb into the middle 80s to lower 90s by late day with even cooler temps on tap for Tuesday. Winds will blow from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph most of the day, before shifting to the southwest in the evening. Skies will be mostly sunny throughout the day as well. Low: 57°. High: 87°.

Tuesday, May 21, 2013 It will be slightly "cooler" than it was over the weekend on Tuesday as highs only warm into the middle 70s to the lower 80s thanks to a reinforcing shot of cold air. Yeah, that's not that "cool", but it's better than the 90s and 100 degree heat from Saturday! Skies will be mostly sunny to partly cloudy as northerly winds at 10-20 mph during the morning decrease to speeds averaging 5-15 mph for the afternoon. Low: 50° High: 77° Wednesday, May 22, 2013 We will start to warm back up on Wednesday as upper-level high pressure builds back into the High Plains. Highs will reach the mid 80s to the lower 90s by late day. Northeasterly morning winds at 5-15 mph will shift more to the southeast during the afternoon hours, blowing at the same average speed.
