AMARILLO, TEXAS -- When will pumps have to be used to get water out of Lake Meredith?

That was one of the issues addressed in Wednesday's meeting of the Canadian River Municipal Water Authority.

The answer is two feet. If the lake drops two more feet, then the pumps will have to be used.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the lake is sitting at 44.03 feet. Kent Satterwhite tells us that on average, the lake can drop close to half an inch every other day.
