AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The month of March is roaring in like a lion, creating extremely high fire dangers.
Amarillo's office of the National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning on Tuesday morning. It's in effect Thursday from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Residents are asked to use caution with all outdoor activities as wind gusts are expected to reach 50-65 mph.
Storm Search 7 says the relative humidity will be at or below 15 percent with winds out of the west at 25-35mph.
