AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you're looking for some local entertainment, the Amarillo area has you covered.

October 12-14 a variety of events will entertain the residents of the panhandle area.

It's nearly impossible to be bored this weekend, and kick starting the flurry of events was the Peddler Show at the Civic Center.

"It's a great fall show we have great fall items, home decor, Halloween, Christmas, just a little bit of everything for anybody that comes out here," said Emily Sutton Event Manager. "Men, women, children, great for the whole family."

81 vendors set up and prepared a show as unique as Amarillo.

"They can expect to get to know the vendors, that is the great part about it. It's not like going to the mall. They'll get to share their stories and they'll find items that they won't find anywhere else, they'll find here," said Sutton.

If you want to have fun without taking out your wallet, there are a few options. All events encourage family fun and many are free.
