Because of dangerous weather conditions, the Texas Department of Transportation is is strongly discouraging any and all travel along the Interstate 27 corrdidor.
TxDOT said blowing dust is limiting visibility throughout the area.
Motorists traveling are urged to use caution.
Storm Search 7 said a huge plume of dust is traveling throughout the Panhandle causing visibilities to decrease.
The National Weather Service reported a fatal wreck near New Deal on I-27 in the dust storm.
