Two women have been indicted by a Armstrong county grand jury for possesion of 35,000 grams of meth.
Grand jurors have indicted Delmy Nohemy Hernandez and Lilia Rivera with Knowingly and Intentionally Possessed with the Intent of Distribute 500 Grams and more of Methamphetamine.
Court records show that Hernandez and Rivera were arrested December 20, after being pulled over for a traffic violation, east on I-40. Law enforcement officials received consent to search the vehicle.
Upon a search of the vehicle officials found the drugs under the firewall under the windshield wipers and in a spare tire and the rear floor of the vehicle.
The penalty for crime holds a minimum of 10 years in jail or up to life imprisonment.
